The horse sleighing route goes along the foothills of the Southern Urals. Qualified instructors will teach you how to use horse gear, as well as how to drive a sleigh. Strong and trained horses will take you through beautiful corners of geographical center of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Programme of the Zilim horse-sleighing tour - 3 days:

            Day 1

            10.00: Departure from Ufa by bus. (Place of the group meeting: TDK Gostiny Dvor, marten sculpture in front of the main entrance). Local time. Lunch in a roadside café.
Bus trip (150km) to Krasnousolsk settlement. Survey excursion about Krasnousolsk. Holy springs (mineral and healing water) – the medicinal basis of Krasnousolsky Sanatorium. Lunch.
Passage to Imendyashevo village (60 km). Accomodating in Tabyn tourist center.
Acquaintance with horse harness. Getting practical skills in driving a sleigh. Driving in a sleigh.
Horse-sleighing trip in the vicinity of the river Zilim (5-8 km)
Dinner. Russian banya.

        

            Day 2

            Breakfast in the Tabyn tourist center.
Horse sleighing passage (10 km) to the cave Kinderlinskaya (Pobeda). 
On the way – the rock Plakuchaya, “sacrificial” rock Ukly-Kaya (180 meters above the river Zilim).
Visiting Kinderlinskaya (Pobeda) cave.
Lunch – a picnic in the forest:  sandwiches, hot food in thermoses, tea. 
Return to Tabyn tourist center. (10 km) Having rest in the tourist center.
Dinner.

        

            Day 3

            Breakfast.
Horse sleighing trip along the flood-lands of the river Zilim (10 km), visiting the rock Aktash.
Lunch. 
Bus trip to Ufa (140 km).Arrival at Ufa by 20.00. Local time.

        

The route or she schedule can be corrected arrording to the weather conditions, qualification of the group or other circumtances.

Meeting: at 10 a.m., local time (Moscow time +2 hours), on arrival day. Place of the group meeting: Ufa, Verhnetorgovaya square, 1, Trade Business Complex "Gostiny Dvor", marten sculpture in front of the main entrance.
Departure: transfer to Ufa (Gostiny Dvor) is organized on the day of departure (by 09.00 p.m)

The price includes: accommodating, catering services (3 meals a day), transfer, excursions, banya- according to the programme; rent of horses and gear, guides’ and instructors’ services, insurance for 50000 RUB.

Horse sleighing passages length: 35 km. Bus passages length: 360 km.

Provided equipment: special - sleighs with horse harness; personal - sleeping-bags, bedclothes, thermoses.

Age of tourists: starting from 16 years old; (from 10 years old only with parents).

Accomodating in Tabyn tourist center:

The house has two rooms for accommodating 4-8 persons, and a dining room. Every tourist is offered a sleeping place - orthopedic mattress with bedclothes. In the building there is stove heating, electricity, dry closet, washbasins (washstands); public conveniences and Russian banya (bath-house) are in the yard.

Catering: three meals a day. Cooks prepare meals in the tourist center. Snacks during the active part of the tour: sandwiches, hot tea.

Guides and instructors: Two guides-instructors accompany each group (up to 15 people).

List of recommended personal equipment:

rucksack/bag, personal care items, warm cap (covering ears), scarf, waterproof mittens, valenki (felt boots), 2 pairs of woollen socks, comfortable and warm overcoat, warm sportswear, tracksuit trousers, pocket torch, toilet paper, personal first-aid kit.

To the cave: warm waterproof clothing and gloves, nonskid sole boots, headlamp.

It is necessary to have private papers and a policy of obligatory medical insurance.

Note! Average air temperature in the Southern Urals (on the territory of Bashkortostan) in winter amounts to –15°С, -25°С at night, and –10°С, -20°С in the daytime. Pay attention to your physical qualification and be more careful while selecting your personal outfit, so that you could fully enjoy active rest and the beauty of the local nature. As experience has shown, valenki (felt boots) are quite necessary in winter.
