The Southern Urals is an ideal place for winter recreation. Here winter is frosty and snowy; mountains are covered with deep white snow and shine in the sun, and amaze you with their grandeur and beauty.

We invite you to travel on horseback on the forest and mountain paths!    

The exotic horse sleighing route goes along the spur of the mountain ridge called Kraka-Tau, in the flood-lands of the rivers Kaga and Agidel (Belaya).

If you love winter traveling, you will be surely impressed by horses running really fast. Blizzards playing with all colours of rainbow strew people driving in a sleigh with snow dust; pictures are changing so fast that it creates a very impressive perception of the world. And after that you can enjoy rest in a hospitable centenarian house built of pine and larch, and have a cup of hot herbal tea with Bashkir honey.

In addition, the horseback riding tour can be supplemented with snowmobiling, skiing and skating.
     
Programme of the horseback riding tour "Riding in winter forest":   

Day 1

05.00-07.00: Meeting the group at Beloretsk railway station. Local time. Arriving at Kaga settlement. Accommodating in Tengri tourist center. Breakfast. Getting acquainted with the history of the place and visiting architectural monument of the 19th century - Nikolskaya church. Excursion to the museum of Kaga settlement and Ural ironworks history. Lunch. Horseback riding passage to Beryozovoe hamlet (25 km) along the flood-lands of the river Agidel (Belaya). En route: Domennye Gates – a geological monument. Dinner. Night stay in a hut in sleeping-bags.

Day 2

Breakfast. Riding return to Tengri tourist center (25 km). Lunch. Having rest in the tourist center: sliding downhill in sleds, on snowtubings. Dinner. «Over a cup of tea…» - tea ceremony (herbal tea) and tasting Bashkir honey and balms. Russian banya. Departure to Beloretsk railway station at 21.00. Local time.

Beginning of the tour : from 5.00 to 7.00 a.m. (local time) at Beloretsk railway station.

Accommodating in Tengri tourist center in Kaga settlement:

At your disposal are: a spacious wooden building, two-storied rooms with beds for 8-15 persons, a dining-room, a restroom with TV and video equipment, table tennis, equipment renting office, a snowtubing track with a tow, a skating-rink.

In the building there is stove heating, electricity, dry closet. Russian banya (a bath house) and public conveniences are in the courtyard.

Accommodating during the horseback riding trip:

Wooden huts with stove heating (a room for 10-15 persons), without electricity; lighting is provided by candles or oil lamps. Night stay on plank beds in sleeping bags. A toilet booth is in the courtyard. 

Catering: three meals a day. Cooks prepare meals in the tourist center. Tourists take part in cooking during the horseback riding trip.

Provided equipment: horse harness, sleeping-bags, snowtubings, thermoses, bedclothes. It’s possible to rent skis, skates and snowmobiles (Polaris Widetrack).

The price includes: catering services (3 meals a day), accommodating at the tourist center in Kaga, and in wooden huts en route, rent of equipment and horses, guides’ and instructors’ services, excursions and banya (according to the programme), insurance for 50000 RUB, transport support during the tour, transfer from Beloretsk railway station to Kaga, transfer from Kaga to Beloretsk railway station.

Age of tourists: starting from 18 years old; (from 16 years old only with parents).

Also possible (for extra payment): cooking shashlik (shish kebab) or roast lamb.
